Childcare and Development
The partners of Community Acorns have over 30 years experience working in this field. Of this time 20 years were spent establishing and running a small chain of day nurseries and out of school clubs. Since then, the focus of our involvement has been management of nurseries and pre school settings from a registration, quality and developmental perspective – including training and support for families and community as well as being child focused.
In the childcare field we are currently contracting for a number of SureStart Children’s Centre’s, as well as acting for and advising some providers on issues around sustainability, development, expansion and acquisitions.
